Really good post – I agree about these points as well, but especially the one about finding something that just works and sticking with it. There have been a lot of times when I will try something different or to be more spontaneous and it will create an unexpected result. It might be a good time saver or new technique but you have to identify what it is. Once you acknowledge it, you can then incorporate it into your work flow.

“When in Doubt, Throw it Out” the bests statement I have heard in a while. I am practicing it lately and if I have a doubt that I will need that thing or file I store it for two weeks and if I haven’t thought it missing then I just throw it out or delete it.
