Sorry if this sounds noob, but I was just wondering why you cut out the birds the way you did..? I just used the magic wand tool to get rid of all the blue sky, and went back and got rid of the plane track afterwords..Is there a specific reason why you used the channels? Thank you.

Yap you are right! The woman is to bright ! I would lower the Brightness of the woman image ! The title is "night and day" maybe that is the idea to be bright and dark :) keeping only the night atmosphere it would have been perfect !

Wow Ionut, you really put a lot of effort in these, kudos! I do belive that the girl's hair is way to bright, but great tut nonetheless...

I really like the concept and some of your techniques, but the shadows and lighting of the images don't work with each other. When you're selecting pictures you should see if the shadows and light on that image can match up with (or be worked on to match) the other images. The moon in the background should have given at least the top part of the castle a white glow, and th day part of the bottom should have appropriate lighting as well. And I have a suggestion that instead of the brush tool, the path of the vines be made with the pen tool. The curves will be smoother.

I hope this helps :)

Great piece of work and thanks for the tuto! I like the night and day feeling (with the moon and al.), it gives a good fantastic/sci fi look. Maybe without the girl, as beautiful as she is, and all the vine swirls around...

Cheers!
