Kevin, your piece is simply stunning! I think Zena's going to be thrilled you were able to incorporate some of the techniques she shared into your workflow!

Another GREAT tutorial. The artwork is pretty, and the walkthrough very insightful; but discussing how you post process your vector art in photoshop really tops this off; I treat my vectors similar in ps, adding noise and stuff really makes a vector piece feel more organic, and less artificial.

I applied some of your post-processing ps techniques on an (unfinished)vector piece of mine (a piece obviously HEAVILY inspired by the art of Shane Glines -I bought his books so I'm LEARNING from him NOT COPYING!).

Amazing tutorial! I would like to keep seeing tips within a tutorial. I've been looking for something like this for such a long time.

Omg man, that is freaking awesome! Thanks so much!

With the optimization, I would make a symbol out of it and rasterize a copy of the symbol and if it needs transparency i use the pen tool to create a clipping path for it. I know its not ideal:(

Thanks again :)

Lol tried it out and hehe, i don't have to double click and rename the layer or anything. and i know this may sound ridculously lazy but within the dialogue box i wish there were a KB shortcut to tick the template box. lol might google it now. thanks man
