I’d use the subscription to kick-start an online store…what else? :) In all seriousness I would probably use it to start a lo-fi camera store.

I’d use the subscription to set up a store that actually works for my wife, who runs a boutique jewellery store currently hosted using WordPress, and this would give her the store she deserves and hopefully the sales to boot.

Hmm, the deadline seems to have passed?
Anyway, I’d use the subscription to power the t-shirt store I’m planning. A series of six tees, each for a different charity here in the UK. The more saved on this, the more goes to the charities.

I would use the subscription service for a men’s fashion/advice startup. I have used Shopify in the past for other projects and can’t recommend it enough.

I will ultimately use this service to the best of it’s ability leaving the cheap looking PayPal “Add To Cart” buttons behind and using this service so my customers will have more direction, and they will be able to search and buy products with much more ease. The Shopify 1 year plan will also help me decide if I shall continue to use it. My customers will be able to spend less time buying and more time using and finding!

I’d love to be able to call myself a designer one day. I’d love to… actually, there are lots of things I’d love to do. LOTS. Once upon a time I’d have just thought about them as dreams and leave it at that, because, you know, designers and peeps who do AMAZING stuff have degrees and go to college/university to be able to do those things, and I went to university to be a teacher…! And I’m probably not ever going to go back to university – I change my mind too much at this point to commit to a 4 year degree that I may or may not love the guts out of. BUT, I’m starting to think that, no, you don’t have to have a piece of paper and bucket loads of debt to do those things, that a degree doesn’t automatically give you permission to BE that one thing and that maybe just PROVING you can do it is enough.
SO.
I’d use a 1 year subscription to learn the SHIZZLE out of every.single.aspect I could possibly cram into my brain about design/typography/colour/coding/css/html/photoshop/illustrator/etc etc to continue to grow my teeny tiny business where I am changing the world, 1 little piece of mindfully, meaningfully created kid’s clothing at a time, AND to use the skills I WILL LEARN in my 1 year’s unlimited subscription to help others change the world THEIR 1 little piece at a time.
Thanks! x
