30 Beautiful Web Designs with Subtle Texturing
Using textures in a web design is a popular technique for adding a touch of detail to your work. Textures can be used in backgrounds, user interface elements, imagery, etc. to create visual intricacy. Sometimes, though, using bold textures can be overpowering and can become a distraction. In this visual collection, you’ll see web designs that use textures subtly and elegantly.

Thanks for the new list! I was wondering if my wedding website that I have just launched last month, will qualify as an example too. It’s a subtle use tho. :)

Such a well-curated gallery of quality sites! (Admittedly – something I’ve come to expect with Design Instruct).
It’s amazing the degree of “heart” a subtle texture can inject into a site. Thanks for showing me some new ones (which are being bookmarked as we speak!).

Really good collection of sites here! I would have to agree that even a subtle use of texture can add a lot to the feel of a website. Thanks for sharing these!

Awesome collection Jacob! One thing I would like to bring up is something that I’ve noticed for a while now. It may be just me, but I would really like to see the images link to the websites as well as the titles. Perhaps it’s me being used to other sites, but every time I find myself trying to click the image. Just a suggestion :)

That’s an error on my part. I do typically link the images too so that you can click on it, I must’ve forgotten it here. I’ll update this ASAP.

This took longer than it should have, but it’s been updated. You should now be able to click on the images to open the actual website.
